Shipping

Domestic orders can take up to 5-6 business days, (or longer depending on the circumstances). And are shipped using Royal mail Tracked or signed for services.
I will endeavour to post out your order as quickly as possible, but occasionally due to events/timings/numbers of orders it may take a few days before parcels are shipped out. Please be patient, this business is run solely by me, I package, label and send every order myself. If for any reason there are delays in sending work out, I will be in touch.
If you provide the wrong shipping details and fail to identify the error until after the parcel has been shipped out, then the lost parcel is your responsibility. Occasionally, an incorrect address can be rectified, and I will of course always try to resolve the situation. but in the case it is lost, I will not offer a refund if the package goes missing.
Orders can be picked up from my studio or an agreed location in Forres Scotland, for free. At checkout you can select 'local pickup' as a delivery option and I will be in contact to arrange a time for you to collect the work.

Returns

Although I always hope you are happy with your purchases. Sometimes that is not the case. If you are unhappy with a product, you have 14 days from receiving your pieces to  request a refund. Once I have received your return and checked the items are in the same condition as when sent out, I will process your refund within 14 days. If items are returned damaged or used, refunds will not be accepted.
Returns will only be accepted from the buyer, not a second party.

Commissions

Commissions are accepted at the discretion of Jenny Brown Studio
Wholesale and bespoke items will be invoiced in two parts, the first 30% of the estimated final price will be invoiced first and act as a non refundable deposit. Once the deposit is received work will commence. If payment is not received this will delay start times and deadlines may not be met.
If during the making process, you want to amend your order in any way including but not limited to quantities and details, this may incur additional charges and effect deadlines.
The remaining 70% of the invoice will be sent on completion, Postage, packaging and any additional costs will be added onto this part of the invoice. 
Returns are not accepted for bespoke or personalised items.

Handmade

Please remember that my work is handmade, and therefore variations in size, colour and shape may occur. But this is all part of the beauty of handmade ceramics, no two pieces are identical. If you are ordering a piece from my online shop it may not be the piece photographed but will be the same clay colour and design. If there are great variations in pieces they will either be listed as separate items or as drop down options to select before making your purchase.

Caring for pieces

Please be careful with your pieces, wash by hand if possible and refrain from using any strongly staining foods and liquids on them. It helps to quickly wash them after use and if you can don't leave liquid in them overnight of for long periods. I would not recommend using a microwave and only using a dishwasher if completely necessary. Handmade ceramics simply are not as durable as factory made pieces, therefore treating the pieces with care and hand washing is always best practice.
